Jannie B. Clark

Jannie B Clark, 75, of Scottsburg, died Friday, February 18 2011 at her residence. She was born April 29 1935 in Carrollton KY to Roy E Floyd & Muriel B Willis Floyd, who are deceased. She was previously married to Roger R Clark, who also preceded her in death. Jannie retired in l996 as a real estate broker having served in the family real estate business. She was a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, Southern Indiana Poetry Club, The Scarlett O’Hatters Red Hat Club, American Legion, Scott County Moose Family Center #2324, Scott County Shrine Club. Survivors: sons William D Butler (Susan) & Robert T Butler of Scottsburg; daughter-in-law Debra Hutchisons of Scottsburg; brothers Buck Floyd & Roy ‘Junior’ Floyd of Charlestown IN; half brother Bobby Floyd of KY; half sister Marcey Combs, S. C.; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Ruby McCain & Patricia Early & daughter-in-law Freda Butler. Visitation: 4 PM - 8 PM, Friday, February 25 2011 & after 9 AM, Saturday at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11 AM, Saturday, February 26 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Johns officiating & burial in Kimberlin Creek Cemetery.
