Jessica Nicole Sue Pelley

Jessica Nicole Sue Pelley, a vibrant soul born on June 12, 1994, in Columbus, Indiana, left this world too soon on August 28, 2025. She departed from us following a tragic motorcycle accident, one of her beloved pastimes that embodied her spirited nature and craving for freedom. Jessica was only 31 years old, but she lived every moment with a boldness that enveloped everyone around her.

Her vivid personality shone as bright as the summer sun. Free-spirited and unapologetically herself, Jessica was never shy to strike up a conversation with a stranger, turning casual encounters into cherished memories through her genuine love for people. Infused with an ornery streak, she commanded attention in her world. It was clear that Jessica had a mind of her own – if she was right, she made sure you knew it, and woe to those who dared to disagree! Her sassy remarks and infectious laughter painted every room she entered with delight and warmth.

A strong-willed woman, Jessica wore her heart on her sleeve. Her devotion to motherhood was palpable; she treasured her son, Kigan Pelley, and poured her energies into supporting his passions and endeavors. Her family was her pillar, and she embraced them wholeheartedly. She is survived by her father, Jesse Pelley of Butlerville, Indiana and two brothers, Chris Denning of Anderson, Indiana and Justin Pulley of Butlerville, Indiana. She is also survived by Scott and Becky Davis of Reddington, Indiana who loved her as her very own and a host of friends that she loved dearly.

Jessica’s passions extended beyond the confines of family life. She nurtured an avid interest in music, letting rhythm and melody weave their way into the fabric of her daily existence. Fond of the open road, riding motorcycles was more than just a hobby; it was an exhilarating manifestation of her free-spirited essence.

She attended The Tabernacle at Sandy Creek Church in Seymour, Indiana, creating bonds that meant the world to her. In her life she built a network of friends who cherished her dearly, each one adding to the vibrant tapestry of her life.

Though she is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Barbara June Tuck Burton, and her brother, Stevie Joe Tuck, Jessica's legacy of love, strength, and sass lives on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.

Friends and family are invited to join together in fellowship and remembrance. A visitation will be held on September 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM, at the Christensen Family Funeral Home located at 311 Holiday Square Road, Seymour, Indiana. Pastor Larry Arrowood and Pastor-Elect Aaron Arrowood will officiate.

The world will forever feel a little less bright without her unyielding spirit, yet we carry her memory in our hearts, celebrating the vibrancy she gave to life and the love she shared so freely. Rest in peace, dear Jessica; your laughter, sass, and love will echo in our lives eternally.
