Joshua David Williams

Joshua David Williams Sr., age 44, a lifelong resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on February 20, 1982, to the late John Williams and the late Deborah Williams. He was a Christian by faith.

Joshua was a kind hearted, loyal man that would help anyone that needed him. He was a strong-willed man that loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was truly a one-of-a-kind guy. He loved riding his bicycle, playing pool, and fishing. Joshua loved his family dearly and was very protective of them. His dog "baby girl" had a very special place in his heart.

He is survived by his four sons, Christopher Williams, Ethan Williams, Admiral Williams and Joshua Williams Jr., all of Scottsburg, Indiana. Two daughters, Charity Williams and Destiny Williams, both of Scottsburg, Indiana. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cassidy Williams, maternal grandparents, Homer and Lucille Williams, and paternal grandparents, Sam and Barbara Phillips.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home - Seymour Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 PM with Brother Brien Stout officiating. Private graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
