Randall "Randy" Davis

Randall "Randy" Davis, born November 27, 1960, in Seymour, Indiana, passed away at his residence on June 27, 2026, at the age of 65. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Randy was a proud 1979 graduate of Crothersville High School, a milestone in his life that served as the foundation for his lifelong commitment to personal and professional achievement. He was known among his family, friends, and community as an individual of integrity, kindness, and unwavering support.

He will forever be remembered as a laid back, easy going man that was slow to anger. He loved fishing and mowing grass, taking excellent care of his yard. He was loved and cherished by his friends and family in the Philippines. He also enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith show.

Randy is survived by the love of his life, Shayne Chong and her daughter Shanon Chong. He also leaves behind his brothers, Norman Davis of Brownstown, Indiana, Jerry Davis and his wife Michelle of Crothersville, Indiana and Terry Reynolds of Seymour, Indiana. His sisters, Tina Kessler and Tammy Cornett, and their spouses, Craig and Jeff, mourn his passing as well. Randy’s second mother that she loved as her very own, Alene Gray Davis of Seymour, Indiana remains to cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Davis; his mother, Janet Ortman Davis; his sister-in-law, Lisa Kay Davis; his grandparents, Barney Davis, Violet Davis, Russell Ortman, and Margorie Skaggs. Randy’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones, whose lives have been shaped by his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to family.

A visitation honoring Randy’s life will be held on July 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home, 311 Holiday Square Road, Seymour, IN 47274. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 1:00 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives Randy touched are invited to attend and pay their respects. He will be laid to rest at Cana Cemetery in Crothersville, Indiana immediately Following.
