Rosanne Gootee

Rosanne Gootee, 79 of North Vernon, IN. passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Born June 26, 1938, the daughter of Edward and Janice (Stagman) Evans. She married William Joseph Gootee Sr. in 1959.

Rosanne was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon. She was also a volunteer at the St. Vincent Jennings Hospital Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and she loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her children, Kathi Gootee, Jill King, Joe Gotee and Gary (Beth) Gootee; her grandchildren, Jana (Steve) Armstrong, Ryan (Felisha) Gootee, Adam Gootee, Jeff Gootee, Kassi (Steven) Pennycuff, Tiffany (Loren) Lamson and Nichole Rodgers; several great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Sally Melton and Jim Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 32 years; and her brother, Jack Lucas.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at 10:00 am with Deacon Larry French officiating. Friends can sign the guestbook or share a favorite memory at www.WoodlawnFamilyFuneral.com
