Sandra O'Neal

Sandra Faye (Davidson) O'Neal, age 74, a native of Feesburg, Ohio and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Schneck Medical Center.  She was born on November 15, 1949 to the late George Davidson and the late Bessie (Hudson) Davidson. 

Sandra will forever be remembered as a kind, compassionate, strong willed lady that loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a faithful member of Seymour Harvest Church where she was actively involved in Bible study groups and cooking for special events. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and was a true prayer warrior. Sandra was a "second mom" to many, was always attentive to the needs of others and had a servants heart. Her famous chicken meals, cherry delight and sugar cookies were second to none. Above all, she loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.

She is survived by her husband of over 49 years, Lanny Earl O'Neal of Seymour, Indiana, one daughter, Tara Elmore and her husband John-Michael of Terra Haute, Indiana. Nieces, nephews and a host of friends that she loved as her very own.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, George David Davidson, Oakley Davidson, Herman Davidson, Olin Davidson, Curt Davidson and Doug Davidson.  Two sisters, Pam Maddix and Judy Bannister.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home with a celebration of life to begin at 7:00 PM. The family requests casual dress attire. Pastor Larry Robbins will officiate.
