Sandra Kay Peach, born on May 17, 1954, in the quaint town of Seymour, Indiana, has left this world, yet her spirit lingers in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. With her earthly journey concluding at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 21, 2024, her legacy is one defined by kindness, laughter, and an unparalleled love for animals.
Sandra was a beacon of warmth—a thoughtful and kind soul who greeted each person with genuine friendliness. Her laughter was a melody that filled the air, making moments spent with her a treasure. She embraced life with an open heart, extending her compassion not only to her family but to all those she encountered throughout her life.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Robinson of Bloomington, Indiana, and Robert W. Reynolds of Greenwood, Indiana. Her daughters, Kathy Ann Dixon of Seymour, Indiana, and Stacy Bowling of North Vernon, Indiana. As a sister, she was a companion to Jim Trapp of Freetown, Indiana, Cindy Pike and her husband Mike of Seymour, Indiana, and Penny Deems of Ohio.
Her faith as a Christian guided her, teaching those around her the value of love and perseverance. In the embrace of her family, Sandra found happiness—creating memories that will forever be cherished by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of joy and affection.
Sandra’s journey may have ended, but her impact remains deeply etched in the lives she touched. Though she is preceded in death by her father, Robert Trapp, and her mother, Judy (Wiley) Durham, her shining presence continues to illuminate the hearts of those she loved. As they remember her infectious laughter and unwavering kindness, her family finds solace in knowing that her spirit will live on, wrapped in the joy of shared memories and heartfelt love.
The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Daniel and Betsy Christensen have been entrusted with the arrangements.
