Thomas Edward Meeks, 65, of El Paso Texas and formerly of Scott County IN, died January 31 2011 in El Paso TX. He was born November 2 1945 in Scottsburg IN to Chester Herbert Meeks & Lucille Scruggs Meeks who preceded him in death along with 3 brothers, Virgle Roman, Joseph & Elvis Ray. Mr. Meeks was retired from the U. S. Army. Survivors: son Ronald Thomas Meeks, brothers Lloyd W Meeks, Chester Herbert Meeks, Jr., Delbert J Meeks; sisters Mary L Mann, Wanda C Stidham, Velma L Hall & Barbara A Malcomb.  Visitation: 10 AM - 1 PM, Monday, February 7 2011 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 1 PM, Monday, February 7 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Don Morris officiating and burial in Scaffold Lick Cemetery. Crothersville VFW will conduct a military service.
