Timothy Lee Smallwood

On October 7, 2026, Timothy Lee Smallwood of Seymour, Indiana, passed away from lung cancer at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and entered heaven with family by his side. He was 65 years old. He was born July 16, 1961, to his parents, Meredith Smallwood and Nancy Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Meredith Smallwood; his grandparents, Ed and Oleva Smallwood; and his grandparents, Amuel and Lucy Arthur.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Wilson, and stepfather, David Wilson; his brother, Mark (Shirley) Smallwood; his brother, Jimmy Smallwood; his children, Jesse Smallwood and Sarah Staggs; and his grandchild, Malcolm. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Patches, and his best friend, Kevin Larrison.

He was a familiar face at Seymour’s downtown Larrison’s Diner. He attended Seymour High School and was a former member of the United States Army. He loved playing the guitar, listening to music, watching documentaries, studying history, collecting guns, and working on computers.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
