Seymour

Tommy Allman Jr., a beloved son, devoted brother, and cherished friend, passed away tragically in a car accident on September 12, 2025. Born on September 3, 1972, in Seymour, Indiana, Tommy was the embodiment of kindness and generosity, a man whose radiant smile and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.

Raised in a nurturing environment, he attended Seymour High School, where he forged lasting friendships and developed a passion for life’s simple pleasures. His faith in the Baptist religion grounded him, providing solace and purpose throughout his days. Throughout his career in construction, Tommy became known as a hard worker, often going above and beyond to assist others, a testament to his unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tommy found joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who relished the tranquility of nature, frequently finding peace while sitting on the riverbank surrounded by the sounds of flowing water and chirping birds. Music was another one of his loves, with an eclectic taste that brought rhythm to his life and comfort to his heart.

Tommy will be profoundly missed by his family, particularly his sisters, Patricia Kay Tracy of Brownstown, Indiana, Terrie R. Allman of Seymour, Indiana, and Kimberly Winchester and her husband Tony of Austin, Indiana. His legacy will continue to shine through his nieces and nephews: Lloyd Stewart Robbins Jr., Ty Andrew Winchester, Torrey Thomas Winchester, Anthony David Winchester, Autumn Pevlor, Ashlee Blake and Adrian Scott, who carry forth the love and lessons he imparted.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Joe Allman Sr., and his mother, Diana Sue Tindell, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace of heaven.

Though gone from this Earth, Tommy Allman Jr.'s spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved him. His kindness, laughter, and tenacity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we reflect on his life, let us always remember the lovable guy who wore a smile, the hard worker who was willing to help, and a true friend to many.

The family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Daniel and Betsy Christensen have been entrusted with the arrangements.
