William T. "Bill" Dixon

William T. Dixon Sr., age 87, a native of Columbus, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Seymour Crossing. He was born on February 28, 1937 to the late Ernest Dixon and the late Lula (Burton) Dixon. He was a Christian by faith and a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter Melinda Schuette of Columbus, Indiana. Two sisters, Mary Bryant of Columbia, Kentucky and Lucille McDaniel of Indianapolis, Indiana. Seven grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Charlene J. (Sanders) Cody, one son, William Dixon Jr., one daughter, Theresa Knops, and two brothers, Joseph Dixon and Daniel Ray Dixon. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
